Reimagine the title for a younger, smarter audience.

Approach

Relocating to NYC, I took up the challenge of learning Stanley Tucci’s part in The Devil Wears Prada. Edited at that time by Mandi Norwood, the whole title was redesigned and a tremendous amount of very good work produced.

Outcomes

Mounting losses and 9/11 closed the title only six issues after I joined. But the experience of directing Robert Erdman, Walter Chinn, Mark Abrahams and many more of the world’s greatest fashion and beauty photographers remains invaluable.
